Shereen Davidson
Shereen Callender, born in Toronto, Canada, has always had a sparkle in her eye and a warm heart. Known for her unwavering commitment to giving to the less fortunate, Shereen is the founder of Guidance for Loved Youth Foster Care Services Inc. (GFLY). Her passion for helping young people is her true calling. She has designed numerous programs to support troubled youth and continually gives back to the community.
The GFLY Foundation is Shereen’s latest initiative, dedicated to ensuring that all youth who engage with GFLY receive the best opportunities the world has to offer. The Foundation focuses on providing financial support to youth in need by sponsoring sporting events, awarding scholarships, assisting with living expenses, and granting wishes.
Shereen’s journey is marked by a deep sense of compassion and a tireless work ethic. Her efforts have positively impacted countless lives, creating a legacy of hope and empowerment. Under her leadership, GFLY has grown into a beacon of support and inspiration, reflecting her belief that every young person deserves a chance to thrive. Shereen continues to advocate for youth, working closely with communities, schools, and other organizations to expand the reach and impact of her programs. Her dedication to making a difference is a testament to her character and her unwavering belief in the potential of every young individual.
Richard Gordon
Richard Gordon is an advocate for youths and their family who works vigorously to help change the plight of disadvantaged children through his involvement in child/Youth development programs. He has been working in this capacity for the past 35 years.
Born in the beautiful Island of Jamaica Richard was raised by his loving grandmother; while his biological mother migrated to Canada to create a better life for her family. His grandmother played a strong role in his upbringing. She taught him how to be kind, how to give back to society while respecting others, and most importantly the love and security of family. These feelings resided with Richard until adulthood. Richards' passion for changing lives led him to the career of Child and Youth Work. Not satisfied with the system ideology and philosophy of supporting children he took on Foster Caring for children in need, knowing that he could become a difference in the lives of some child/youth. To date Richard is still supporting children in care and has seen the success of many youths who have gone on to live productive lives.
Be in the field of child/youth care service for these many years to strengthen the realization of the need to support children, youths and their families. With this awareness Richard partnered with Shereen Davidson who is the founder of GFLY Foundation, an organization dedicated to ensuring that all youth receive the best opportunities life has to offer. Samantha Walker
Samantha Walker is a first generation Canadian, coming from a two parent household of Caribbean migrants. She has a long standing journey in the field of social services and helping the youth. From a tender age she was no stranger to witnessing the many plights that the youth face. This is where her admiration for being a helping hand in her community began to spark. Samantha always vowed to continue her stance in seeing a change in the world in which she became an Advocate for Assaulted Women & Children. Working vigorously for over a decade at many Group Homes, Shelters and social services societies across Ontario, Samantha put her hunger for aiding others into partnering up with Shereen Callender establishing GFLY.
Samantha’s involvement in GFLY has opened the door for hundreds of vulnerable and/or at risk youth and adults to receive lucrative support and resources. With Samantha living in and having experience being in marginalized communities, it allowed her to create this drive to push forth seeing a new foundation created. The GFLY Foundation will further the mission of seeing change by providing great financial support in the community. It will help to enhance lives and create change by implementing and funding new and innovative outlets to support a better tomorrow. Thus far, GFLY has made tremendous impacts in many individuals' lives. Working in this field, harnesses many rewards and fulfillments into her passion of bringing change.
Another example of Samantha’s devotion to helping the youth is her being the author of a book called “ Who am I”. Written to encourage and support young people in finding who they are and fighting for their dreams.

Tiona Alexander
Tiona Alexander is a dedicated and compassionate advocate for youth, known for her unwavering commitment to helping young people achieve their goals. With a focus on developing tailored programs for at-risk and hard-to-reach youth, Tiona works tirelessly to create opportunities for growth, learning, and success. Her innovative approaches and long hours of dedication have made her a pivotal figure in her community. Her educational background consists of Child and Youth Worker, Social Service Worker and lastly Behavioural Sciences and ABA.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Tiona is a loving and exemplary mother to two beautiful girls. Her nurturing spirit extends beyond her immediate family, as she has opened her heart and home to children in need by serving as a foster parent. This selfless act of kindness underscores her deep-seated belief in the potential of every child and her dedication to providing a supportive and loving environment for all.
Tiona's work is characterized by a blend of empathy, determination, and strategic thinking, making her a role model and inspiration to both her peers and the youth she serves. Her ability to connect with and positively influence young lives speaks volumes about her character and her enduring impact on the community.
