GUIDANCE
FOR LOVED
YOUTH (GFLY)
FOUNDATION
Empowering lives, breaking cycles & building futures.
Our mission.
The Guidance for Loved Youth Foundation (GFLY Foundation) is a youth and young adult – focused organization rooted in Toronto, Canada and expanding to South Florida, United States of America. Our mission is to empower the next generation by creating safe and inclusive spaces that support mental health, mentorship, and community connection.
-
Adults
We support adults with mental health challenges or autism spectrum disorders that are in need of housing and daily living support.
Youth
We support youth from underprivileged or system-involved backgrounds that are in need of mentorship, creative expression, life skills, and healing.
-
Through workshops, sporting events, and galas, we address the needs of youth and young adults—particularly young Black men—while celebrating their resilience, leadership, and potential. Our programs are trauma-informed, culturally relevant, and purposefully designed to uplift individuals and families who have been systemically underserved.
-
There is a significant gap in culturally responsive, trauma-informed programming and housing – our work aims to close that gap through person-centred support, mentorship and opportunities.
